Over the years we have learned that people are extremely kind, particularly when it comes to helping another person with a serious illness such as cancer. Cancer does not care the color or your skin, the amount of money in your pocket, your age or where you live. It is a disease that if caught early can be survived. If a person is diagnosed later in the disease, hope that the person will survive cannot be taken away. We know that it is not in our power to decide who survives their cancer diagnosis or who is taken by the diagnosis, NPCOH’s mission is help the cancer survivor, their family members and caregivers understand that they are not alone.
