The primary goal for Native People’s Circle of Hope is to advocate for quality health care for native cancer survivors, their family members, caregivers and medical providers. From the national office and through the local coalition of Native focused cancer support groups and NPCOH strives to provide for newly diagnosed cancer survivors support services such as “Medicine Bags,” transportation assistance and culturally appropriate written materials. Partnerships are developed with tribal and native and non-native health organizations to bring more awareness of the needs of native cancer survivors to the decision makers. |
