There are Medicare drug discount cards specific to Native Americans.
Other information learned:
This meeting was coordinated by NPAF to train its State chairs on current health care issues facing organizations patient-clients and the states legislatures. The topics covered were Medicaid, Evidence Based Medicine, Stem Cell Research, Drug Importation and the Uninsured. Speakers discussed the issues for most of the two days and at the end the attendees were asked to develop sample strategies for state legislative activity. Cd's containing the educational material are available from Cece. There were about 100 people attending this meeting.
